Ruth Miller
ted Learning Trainer

Ruth is an experienced trainer with a background in resourcing and recruitment and delivers the Understanding your Personal Brand, and Recruitment and Selection workshops for Ted learning. She is a real ambassador for using social media to build up a personal brand profile and supports both students and employees with how to do this and avoid some of the social media pitfalls!

Ruth finds it so interesting working with such a wide range of different clients across sectors and industries. “What I learn from one client makes me a better trainer as I can give more real life examples to help other ted Learning clients with attracting and selecting great people or to see how other businesses help their employees develop a personal brand.

“The actors we partner with are a real point of difference as the workshops can be far more engaging and dynamic and, with the ability to do real play rather than role play, our delegates come away from sessions with skills that they can use in their day to day work."

As well as delivering training Ruth advises international businesses on how to hire great people, this keeps my knowledge up to date for when I'm training. I also enjoy the voluntary work I do with local secondary schools on careers and interviews - the world of work is going through some major changes with Generation Y making an entrance and it is an exciting time to be a part of it.
