Client | Hanover Housing
Hanover is a national provider of housing and services for people in later life. Hanover manages around 19,000 properties for rent, sale and shared ownership in approximately 600 locations. This includes nearly 2,500 Extra Care properties where residents can access 24-hour care on-site. Hanover is a not-for-profit organisation - any surplus we make is reinvested into maintaining our properties, improving our services and building more homes for older people.
Hanover Housing tendered for a supplier to deliver Inclusion & Diversity training to Estate Managers across the UK. Ted learning was delighted to win this tender and spent time researching in the business to fully understand the desired outcomes, the current culture, any challenges in this subject matter and some scenarios that had taken place in the organisation that we could use for our actors when rolling the programme out.
We delivered two pilot programmes to give the business confidence that our delivery style would work with their employees and were then commissioned to deliver these training courses on an ongoing basis.
The programme covers the Equality Act, the Hanover Values, what Inclusion means and how Managers manage challenges with confidence.
The session is very interactive and uses our E&D Board game, to reinforce learning. We have also developed specifically for Hanover employees a Hanover Hub – this web based learning zone provided by ted Learning, will enable employees to follow up on their learning experience, post questions that may occur after the session, take part in a quiz to check their learning and understanding and see the latest E&D news. This is very much part of our commitment to clients to deliver longevity with the learning so that it doesn’t end when the classroom session concludes.
