ted Learning was approached by Riverside to deliver an event at their Board Members Conference around Equality & Diversity.
Commissioning the work Hugh Owen and Barbara Houghton specified that they wanted something to bring the afternoon to life, that reinforced the board member’s responsibilities around E&D and the risks if they got things wrong or continued ‘as is’
We met the team several times to understand fully the desired learning outcomes, the scenarios they wanted to cover and to really get their language.
We provided at no cost a full ‘dress rehearsal’ in Liverpool so that the team could see the style of our approach prior to delivering it to the board members. This resulted in some minor tweaks to the script prior to rolling out the full event in Manchester.
We delivered 4 scenes, with board members discussing the content and impact and being facilitated from the floor by ted Learning Managing Director, Justin Smith-Essex. Action points were achieved with the board members clear on what needed to be done differently moving forward.
ted Learning delivered a tailored interactive session on Equality and Diversity for our annual Board Members’ Conference. They planned the session very carefully to ensure it met our objectives and the result was that delegates experienced an engaging and thought provoking session.
