2022 Projects A year in review

br-lazy"
This year ted Learning has been able to support over 100 new clients and continued to support existing clients with face to face, virtual and digital learning.
Many of the services provided were products we offer consistently, but for some of our clients, they had a challenge and wanted a different way to fix it and asked ted if we could help.    We have produced more video content this year, than any other year before!

Projects have included developing onboarding videos for Fridays for their own LMS to help answer the most common questions Restaurant Managers asked HR and Legal and providing actors for their staff conference.

New Rail operator Lumo Trains engaged ted Learning to develop all training for their onboard teams – we then produced a series of videos to support the delivery and handed this to the internal L&D team for future new starters.

We helped Cote Brasserie bring their values to life at their Restaurant Manager conference, again using our actors to inject some magic, humour and a chance to hold a mirror up to the guest experience.

For Universal Music Group, The Utility Regulator of Northern Ireland and the National Federation of Educational Research we delivered hybrid working training to their global teams and helped embed their new ways of working.

The Government of Jersey engaged ted Learning to deliver to all their Senior Exec team and then rolled out to all Government employees, Inclusion Equity and Diversity and Restorative Practice Training.

Ted Learning was pleased to work with new client BS-Ship Management to take our Inclusion training global. We worked closely with the global L&D team to understand the challenges the business faced and how we could turn these into impactful drama scenes. The course was delivered to audiences around the world from our Virtual Studio at all times of the day to ensure all team members could attend.

We also developed our first digital product that was entirely in Portuguese for our global betting company. Using UK based Portuguese actors, and script writers, we worked with the client to understand the challenges their teams faced, wrote the scripts with them to reflect these and then filmed the product. The videos show pathway learning and will enable the client to support onboarding staff.

Ted also welcomed Leyland SDM as a new client to support with their store recruitment. Working really closely with the client to understand their current recruitment process, we delivered our interview skills course combining our consciously inclusive recruitment session and making it very interactive and practical. We created ted DIY as a fictitious company so the focus was on the behaviours and experience rather than process. The pilot went so well, we will be rolling out the sessions to the business in 2023.

Ted has always been passionate about supporting schools and through 2022 we have worked with over 15 schools to support them in becoming more inclusive places to work and teach. Usually delivered in INSET days to larger groups, we tailor the experience to reflect colleague to colleague conversations but also using our younger actors in our video content to relate to the student experience. One of the many schools we worked with this year was the Stephenson Academy where we had the pleasure of working with their entire staff. Despite the large group, the engagement levels were extremely high and we managed to use our forum theatre approach where we brought one of the characters back and the audience of learners gave them feedback.
