Leading Through Change is an essential leadership development course designed to help managers confidently guide their teams through today’s ever-evolving workplace landscape. In a world defined by constant disruption—whether due to digital transformation, restructuring, or global uncertainty—organisations must remain agile and adaptive to survive and succeed. Yet, while your business may be built to flex, not all your people are naturally equipped to cope with change.
This creates a critical challenge: when employees feel overwhelmed or unsupported, performance suffers. Processes slow down, productivity drops, and morale can take a hit. Leading Through Change supports leaders to meet this challenge head-on—by developing the emotional intelligence, communication strategies, and self-awareness needed to inspire trust, reduce resistance, and drive positive momentum through uncertainty.
This course combines practical leadership tools with observational drama to make learning relatable, reflective, and relevant. Participants explore the human impact of change, discover how different personality types respond to it, and learn how to adapt their leadership style accordingly. By the end of the course, your leaders will feel more empowered to communicate with empathy, motivate their teams, and lead change with clarity and purpose.
Leading Through Change is ideal for managers and leaders at all levels who want to create a resilient, agile, and change-ready culture—where people feel supported, engaged, and ready to embrace what’s next.
Leading Through Change is a dynamic, practical course designed to equip managers and leaders with the confidence, emotional insight, and communication skills required to navigate periods of uncertainty and transition. Whether facing organisational restructure, cultural shifts, or ongoing change initiatives, today’s leaders need more than operational know-how—they need emotional intelligence and agility to lead authentically and effectively.
This immersive course helps participants explore how different individuals react to change, and how their own leadership style influences team morale, trust, and engagement. By increasing self-awareness and developing empathy, learners gain the tools to support others more effectively through the emotional cycle of change—whether that’s shock, resistance, frustration, or eventual acceptance.
At the heart of Leading Through Change is the integration of emotional intelligence theory—particularly Daniel Goleman’s model—into practical leadership behaviours. Leaders learn to flex their approach, balance empathy with accountability, and communicate with clarity and compassion in the face of uncertainty.
One of the most powerful elements of this course is its use of forum theatre. Participants work alongside professional actors to direct and rehearse real-life scenarios involving difficult change conversations. This interactive approach brings leadership challenges to life and provides a psychologically safe space to practise, reflect and refine communication in real time.
Designed for leaders at all levels, Leading Through Change blends dramatic insight with practical strategies to help managers build resilience, maintain momentum, and inspire confidence—within themselves and across their teams. By the end of the session, participants leave not only with new skills, but with the mindset shift needed to lead with integrity, impact and empathy through change.
The course was very interesting, the trainer was very engaging and the actors were really good

No. While the Leading Through Change course does introduce key concepts such as Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Emotional Leadership Styles to build a strong foundation, the emphasis is firmly on practical application.
Learners actively engage in immersive activities, including forum theatre and real-world scenario planning, to practise applying these concepts in everyday leadership challenges. The course is designed to provide tangible take-away techniques, tools, and strategies that managers can use immediately to support their teams through change.
It’s hands-on, dynamic, and grounded in the real-life experiences of your leaders and their teams.
In the Leading Through Change course, we use two powerful drama-based learning techniques—observational drama and forum theatre—to bring leadership challenges to life and deepen engagement.
Observational drama involves professional actors performing realistic workplace scenarios that reflect common challenges during periods of change. Learners watch the scene unfold and are encouraged to reflect on what’s happening: What actions or behaviours are being demonstrated? What emotions are present? What are the consequences? This creates a springboard for meaningful discussion about leadership styles, emotional intelligence, and team dynamics.
Forum theatre takes this even further by making learners part of the action. Actors perform a scene and learners are invited to direct the characters—suggesting changes to behaviour, communication styles, or emotional responses. They can pause the scene, rewind, and test different approaches in real time. This interactive technique builds confidence, improves communication, and provides a safe space to explore what works—and what doesn’t—when leading through change.
Both methods are highly engaging, emotionally resonant, and tailored to your organisation’s real-life challenges, helping leaders build the empathy, adaptability and resilience needed to guide their teams effectively.
