You’ve got a great team of people in your business, and a fantastic service or product offering…. Things are good. Well, mostly good. They could be better. Ok, being honest, everyone’s not working together terrifically well. It’s not that there’s conflict exactly, but communication is far from smooth & seamless. There seem to be pockets of people who get on and work together successfully, but there’s also a fair amount of tension, duplication of effort, and differences of opinion around ways of working. Meetings are often a challenge – some personalities dominate with their ideas whilst others get bogged down in the detail. Project work can suffer as tasks and responsibilities get lost in translation.

Not everyone seems to understand their role in contributing to the success of the business. Managers spend a considerable amount of time sorting out minor disputes and fielding queries that employees should be able to resolve. Overall, it sometimes feels like you’re all speaking in different languages.

This Power of Personality course utilises observational drama and hot-seating to showcase the four PoP© personality preferences and demonstrate how these impact the way we communicate and interact with others.

Focusing on each preference in turn, learners will self-identify which preference feels most dominant for them, and explore what this means for them in the context of how they work with others. Delving deeper into the PoP© preferences, learners begin to recognise others’ dominant preferences, and learn how they can flex their own approach to support improved relationships and interactions with others.
