WHAT CHALLENGE DID Arriva UK Bus FACE?

In 2017 Arriva UK Bus launched ArrivaClick, an on-demand responsive transport service, allowing passengers to book and pay for journeys via a smartphone app. Following the success of the pilot, the service was set to expand across multiple locations in the UK.

To support this rollout, Arriva UK Bus  commissioned a bespoke online training course designed to complement face-to-face depot training for new ArrivaClick drivers. This course was hosted on the Arriva Driver Training Hub built by ted Learning .

  • Driver Orientation for ArrivaClick – Ensuring new drivers understood the unique operational principles of the on-demand transport service.
  • Customer Experience & App Navigation – Providing drivers with a passenger-focused perspective on using the ArrivaClick smartphone app for seamless bookings.

    • No fixed bus stops

ted Learning . Transforms ArrivaClick Driver Training with Bespoke Digital Learning Solutions

ted Learning  partnered with Arriva UK Bus to develop a bespoke ArrivaClick training programme, seamlessly integrating it into the existing Driver Training course. This approach reduced the need for a lengthy standalone ArrivaClick course, allowing drivers to first complete the standard Driver Training before progressing to a dedicated ArrivaClick module tailored to their role.
