The Department of Transport was looking for a fresh approach to presentation skills and liked the idea of blending drama-based techniques with presenting. They wanted presenters to be more engaging towards their audiences which could be other government departments, highways agencies, the press or other stakeholders.
ted Learning delivered an Advanced Presentation Skills training course designed to help senior leaders at the Department of Transport to create and deliver more engaging, impactful presentations.
The programme focused on structuring content effectively, managing audience engagement, handling questions with confidence, and ensuring slides complemented rather than dominated the narrative.
Each participant had the opportunity to practice their presentation skills in person, receiving constructive feedback from our expert trainers and professional actors. To reinforce key learning points, we also delivered a live demonstration of common presentation mistakes, bringing them to life in an engaging and memorable way.
Such brilliant actors and facilitation. Really adds an edge to the training.
