Kidderminster College engaged ted Learning initially for Brave Conversations training to better equip staff on how to have difficult conversations with colleagues, managers, peers, students and parents. They wanted something that could be delivered theatre style and with impact and loved the idea of a bit of drama. This led to the college further investing in Diversity, Equality and Inclusion training for the entire organisation.
With years of experience in the education sector, ted Learning understands the unique challenges faced by colleges. Several members of our leadership team come from an educational background, allowing us to create realistic, impactful training tailored to the needs of Kidderminster College
Our Brave Conversations training was initially delivered to a large audience, using drama-based learning to bring real workplace scenarios to life. The success of this programme led to Kidderminster College engaging us to deliver Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) training across the entire organisation.
To ensure relevance, we developed bespoke drama scenes that addressed local diversity challenges, including how the lack of diversity in the surrounding area influenced interactions. By featuring a diverse cast of actors, we brought lived experiences into focus, helping staff and students foster a more inclusive, understanding, and respectful college environment.
Really interactive and immediate impact. Actors were brilliant as was Louisa. The session flowed really well. The organisation before the session was great too.
