Leicester City Council was responsible for the budget for the East Midlands Museum Trust. Following successful delivery of training for Ironbridge, we were contacted to support with training on Influencing and Challenging with the specific topic being around budget negotiations, so this was a very bespoke course.

How ted Learning Delivered Bespoke Influencing & Negotiation Training for Leicester City Council
ted Learning partnered with Leicester City Counci to deliver a customised Influencing & Negotiation training programme, tailored to help participants navigate budget discussions effectively and constructively.
Building on our drama-based learning approach, we redesigned the interactive scenarios to reflect the specific challenges faced by council employees. Participants engaged in observational role-play, where they could direct live scenarios using a forum theatre method to achieve the desired negotiation outcomes.
This blended learning experience combined practical drama-based exercises with proven negotiation theories and models, ensuring attendees gained real-world skills applicable to their roles. The training welcomed museum professionals from across the East Midlands, enhancing collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the sector.
