WHAT CHALLENGE DID Monkton Combe School FACE?
Monkton Combe School wanted support in how to handle difficult conversations, did some research and came across ted Learning and our brave conversation offer. They wanted this delivered as part of their staff development day, and wanted two of the workshops in one day so the team could be split 50/50. They loved the idea of drama and wanted this to be based on real conversations they knew people were either avoiding or having without success.

How ted Learning Delivered Tailored Brave Conversations Training for Monkton Combe School
ted Learning adapted our Brave Conversations course to create a fully customised training experience for Monkton Combe School staff, ensuring that the content was highly relevant and engaging.
We tailored the scripts and scenarios to reflect real challenges faced by staff, including a scene centred around an OFSTED visit. Using our hot-seating and forum theatre approach, participants had the opportunity to interact with actors, explore the real-time impact of conversations, and direct alternative outcomes based on newly developed skills.
This immersive learning experience empowered Monkton staff to handle challenging workplace discussions with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
