Championing Inclusivity: How ted Learning Partnered with SIA to Deliver Tailored Training

ted Learning was proud to collaborate with the Spinal Injuries Association to create bespoke training that truly reflected the challenges and opportunities within their organisation.

Recognising that a significant proportion of SIA’s team have physical and mobility-based disabilities, we worked closely with them to adapt scripts and drama-based scenarios, ensuring they were authentic, inclusive, and representative of their experiences. This approach made sure that every voice was heard, and the training resonated with their learners.

We successfully delivered multiple training sessions across the entire organisation, equipping SIA’s team with the skills to navigate difficult conversations effectively. Following this, SIA engaged us again to provide mental health awareness training, further strengthening our partnership.

Our relationship with Spinal Injuries Association has since deepened—we filmed our disability awareness course at their offices, featuring one of their senior managers as a presenter to share insights on living with a physical disability. We also recorded a podcast with two senior managers, exploring their lived experiences and the importance of inclusivity in the workplace.
