Tunbridge Wells Borough Council approached, ted Learning looking for a new way to deliver Mental Health Awareness training for their people managers. Their digital only approach had not led to the level of understanding and embedding they had wanted so they were looking for a new solution and liked the option of using observational drama as a fresh approach.

Empowering Leaders: How ted Learning Delivered Mental Health Awareness Training for Tunbridge Wells Borough Council

ted Learning was proud to deliver Mental Health Awareness – Your Role as a Leader to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, using our signature drama-based learning approach.

Through interactive scenarios, participants observed a manager-employee conversation going wrong, providing a realistic and relatable learning experience. Learners then had the opportunity to hotseat the actor, gaining insight into how the conversation impacted the employee, while our expert mental health trainer guided discussions on better approaches for supporting staff.

This dynamic and engaging training was rolled out to all people managers across the organisation, equipping them with practical skills to foster a mentally healthy workplace.
