Veolia Water Technologies were initially looking for a new supplier to help them with interview skills training. They wanted to ensure all candidates had a really positive experience and that they supported all recruiting managers with formal training so there was more consistency. They wanted the training to be different and have time for learners to practice interviews, so were exploring the drama based approach.
ted Learning began its collaboration with the Veolia Water Technologies division, focusing on improving interview processes to make them more candidate-focused, consistent, and free from bias.
To achieve this, we re-scripted our drama-based scenarios to reflect real job roles within Veolia, ensuring authenticity and relevance. Additionally, we designed practical exercises, where learners reviewed application forms and screened candidates, allowing them to apply their learning in a realistic hiring context.
Following the successful rollout of this training, Veolia expanded our partnership to include Managing Performance training for line managers. This programme helped standardise performance conversations, equipping managers with the skills to provide clear, consistent, and constructive feedback across the business.
By combining immersive drama-based learning with practical application, ted Learning helped Veolia strengthen both its hiring processes and leadership capabilities.
