Chris Connel is a seasoned actor from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, with an impressive portfolio spanning theatre, television, radio, corporate, and commercial work. Best known for originating the role of Oliver Kilbourn in Lee Hall’s critically acclaimed play The Pitmen Painters

How long have you been working as an actor?

Over 30 years

And what do you love most about it?

I love the variety, meeting new people and working in different places. No two weeks are the same

What acting work are you most proud of?

I had a five month run on Broadway NYC and spent 3 years at The National Theatre. I also used to present for the local BBC – I’m very proud of that as it was a job non-acting friends and family could relate to!
