Josette Simon OBE is a distinguished British actor known for her groundbreaking contributions to theatre and television. She gained prominence for her role as Dayna Mellanby in the cult sci-fi series Blake’s 7 (1980–1981), and went on to build an acclaimed stage career with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), where she has appeared in over 50 productions. Josette Simon has received numerous accolades, including the Evening Standard Best Actress Award, a Critics’ Circle Theatre Award, and multiple film festival honours for her role in Milk and Honey (1988). She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2000 for her outstanding services to drama.
