Interview

Lee Moone is a British actor, voice artist, scriptwriter, and director known for Doctor Who: The Monthly Adventures (1999), Hope Springs (2009), and The Gift of Death (1996). He is also well known for his voice roles in several Eighth Doctor audio dramas for Big Finish Productions, including Mike Ferras in Embrace the Darkness, Hart in The Time of the Daleks, and the Undercardinal in Neverland. He also appeared in the parody recording Fly Me to the Moon.

How long have you been working as an actor?

Since 1986

And what do you love most about it?

It’s an odd question as over the years I have never really be able to give a satisfactory answer to myself in answer to what I love most about acting. I know I like rehearsals probably more than the performance, especially if there’s a good selection of biscuits supplied.

What acting work are you most proud of?

Playing various roles in ‘The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town’ (2015). It was a live Radio style play I adapted for the stage from Spike Milligan’s original TV scripts.
