The Government of Jersey was launching its Inclusion Initiative and wanted a focus on Equality and Diversity training alongside Restorative Practice. It needed to be part of a wider event taking place, delivered face to face and both courses taking place at the same time with groups moving around the event. They also wanted it to be experiential and for all employees to attend, following a launch with the leadership team.
ted Learning partnered with the Government of Jersey to develop two fully bespoke training programmes tailored to the island’s unique needs.
Our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) course was designed to be authentic and relevant, ensuring it reflected Jersey’s specific legal framework and cultural challenges, rather than feeling UK-centric. To drive real change, we addressed sensitive workplace behaviours head-on. Delivered to large groups, the sessions featured three actors for dynamic, fast-paced drama-based learning and two expert trainers to guide discussions. We also ran a dedicated EDI workshop for the entire senior leadership team, reinforcing inclusive leadership at the highest level.
Alongside this, we developed a Restorative Practice workshop to empower managers and leaders with the skills to handle challenging conversations with confidence, compassion, and a solutions-focused approach.
This tailored training ensured meaningful engagement, cultural impact, and lasting behavioural change across the organisation.
