TGI Friday’s initially contacted ted Learning as they were looking for support with their Leadership Conference which they were holding in Manchester for all their managers. They wanted to create something different at the event and loved the idea of using an element of drama to bring to life elements of the conference.

Bringing Leadership to Life: How ted Learning Transformed Training for TGI Fridays
When TGI Friday planned their Leadership Conference in Manchester, they wanted something unique—an engaging, immersive experience that would leave a lasting impact on their managers. That’s where ted Learning came in.
To bring key themes of the conference to life, we provided live-action drama, with professional actors creating realistic workplace scenarios. The success of this approach led TGI Friday to extend our partnership, tasking us with producing their Employee Relations e-learning suite.
We scripted and filmed restaurant-based training videos, featuring ted Learning actors as employees, to address real-world managerial challenges. These engaging, scenario-based videos demonstrated best practices, helping managers navigate employee relations effectively. The content was successfully rolled out across all TGI Fridays restaurants, embedding essential leadership skills company-wide.
