Your organisation is committed to living its values and recognising the vital role your people play in its success. A supportive and inclusive culture that promotes wellbeing is no longer a nice-to-have—it’s a business imperative.
As awareness around employee wellbeing grows, so too does the expectation for leaders to take an active role in supporting it. Many have already received introductory training and understand the importance of creating an open environment. But with that openness comes a new layer of complexity. Managers are increasingly being approached with personal or sensitive concerns, and while they want to help, they often feel unsure how to respond appropriately.
Without the right tools, well-meaning managers can unintentionally cross boundaries or suggest solutions that aren’t sustainable or suitable. This can place strain not just on the individual manager, but on the wider organisation. It’s clear there’s a growing need for targeted support—practical, real-world guidance that equips leaders to handle these situations with empathy, professionalism, and confidence.
That’s where this course comes in. By focusing on practical communication strategies and exploring real-life workplace scenarios through drama-based learning, we help leaders bridge the gap between good intentions and effective action. The aim is simple: to empower managers to support their teams while maintaining a healthy balance between compassion and commercial awareness.
This course also equips leaders to take meaningful action—both strategic and everyday—to create a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace culture where mental health is supported and prioritised.

This advanced training builds on the foundational knowledge gained in our Mental Health Awareness course. While the awareness course introduces key concepts around mental health, stigma, and recognising early warning signs, this follow-on session focuses on applying that knowledge in a leadership context.
You’ll explore strategic and practical ways to support your team, from leading supportive conversations to creating a culture where wellbeing is prioritised. The course enables leaders to move beyond recognition and into confident, proactive action that supports individuals and aligns with wider organisational goals.
With interactive, drama-based learning, this course equips you to translate awareness into impactful leadership that makes a real difference to mental health in the workplace.
Observational drama is when our actors play out a scene , and learners observe what’s happening – we use this as a jumping off point for discussion: What was happening there? Why did that happen? What’s the impact of this? How might this person be feeling? ‘Forum theatre’ is when our actors play out a scene, with the learners ‘directing’ how individual characters behave, respond and react in the conversation. Learners can pause, stop the action and rewind, giving them the opportunity to see what works and what doesn’t.
We have been delivering highly impactful drama-based learning for over 13 years.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the learning we provide and the learner feedback reflects this, we will put it right at no additional cost or give you your money back.
